Let’s compare Devin Booker and Nikola Jokic as offensive weapons.

Nikola Jokic

Richard Jefferson picked Nikola Jokic as the best offensive weapon in the NBA. Nikola Jokic is two-time regular season most valuable player award winner and one-time Finals MVP winner. This is the result of his offensive acumen. Last season Jokic averaged 24.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game. He also was very efficient last season. Jokic shot 63% from the floor and 38% from three point range.

In the playoffs Jokic became an even bigger weapon. He averaged 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game while shooting 54% from the floor and 46% from three point range. Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to their first NBA championship.

Devin Booker

Kendrick Perkins picked Devin Booker as the best offensive weapon out of the four teams that were being discussed. Booker is a very dynamic offensive player who averaged 27.8 points per game, 5.5 assists per game, shot 49% from the floor and 35% from three.

In the playoffs Booker took his game another level. He averaged 33.7 points per game, 7.2 assists per game, shot 58% from the floor and 50% from three.

Devin Booker is definitely one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the NBA but nobody controls the game on the offensive end like Nikola Jokic. Jokic is the best passing big man of all-time while also having the ability to drop 40 points when needed. Jokic is the not only the best offensive weapon in the NBA today but he will go down as one of the best offensive weapons of all-time.
