Badger has led the Sun Devils in every receiving category over the last two seasons and has been a All-Pac-12 honorable mention for each of those seasons. ASU will now enter its first season in the Big 12 without their leading reciever.

Despite Badger’s departure, the team has a promising recieiving corp highlighted by sophomore Jordyn Tyson, senior Jake Smith, and junior Troy Omeire.

This will be a different looking Arizona State roster ahead of the upcoming season, as multiple core players have transferred out and new talent continues to be brought in.

Nebraska QB Jeff Sims to reportedly transfer to Arizona State

The 6-foot-2 reciever and former four-star recruit has interest from several teams but may decide to stay in the Valley for his final season at the collegiate level.

Not only is Badger’s departure a significant loss for ASU, but the team’s biggest rival landing him would be less than ideal for the Sun Devils.
