Arizona Sports 98.7 FM radio host John Gambadoro added that the players will head to Salt Lake while other staff won’t.
“The hockey operations side of the Arizona Coyotes (players, coaches, trainers) will be moving to Utah not the business side,” Gambadoro said.

There is no official word from Coyotes owner Alex Meruelo or the franchise to confirm or deny these claims, at the time of reporting.
Once the sale from Meruelo to Smith is made official, the team will move, have a new name and will play at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, home of the NBA’s Utah Jazz.
The Coyotes have two games remaining this season and in their existence as a franchise if the reports are true. Arizona will face the Calgary Flames on Sunday before returning home for presumably the final home game against the Oilers on Wednesday.
