Bradley Beal and Bol Bol both added 13 points while Eric Gordon had 12 from the bench in Phoenix’s (42-29) third straight win. The Suns had a highly efficient night of shooting from the field, going 56-for-94 (59.6%).

As a substitute, Keldon Johnson led the Spurs (15-55) in points with 14. 2023 first-overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama stashed 13 as San Antonio lost its third consecutive game.

Leading 26-17, Booker and the Suns registered 12 points, including seven in the last 4:14 of the first quarter. Off to a slow start, the Spurs only shot 6-for-22 (27%) from the field and 1-for-9 (11%) from three.

Phoenix started the second quarter with a 9-2 run after Gordon made a pair of threes, and constructed smart ball movement.

For the past few games, turnovers have been a huge issue for the Suns but they only had two through the first half. Durant posted 17 points through the first two quarters as Phoenix were up 65-47.

The Spurs would see their deficit enlarge even more in the third quarter as they were outscored 38-24 by Phoenix. Booker potted 16 points alone in the quarter for the Suns to cruise from there on out, leading 103-71.

Besides Isaiah Thomas, Phoenix used their entire bench for almost the whole fourth quarter to wrap up the victory.

The Suns’ defensive pressure contributed to 11 steals and forced the Spurs to commit 15 turnovers. Beal recorded a season-high of 12 assists in a single game this season.

“Just a spectacular performance,” Suns head coach Frank Vogel said on Beal. “He’s reshaping his game for this team, this role is different from some of the other roles he has had on his teams in Washington. He is going to do whatever the team needs and to see him playing this way is uplifting for our group.”

Both of these teams will play once again in San Antonio on Monday at 5 p.m. PT.
