Now on the brink of elimination, the Suns did not lead for even a moment in tonight’s game. The third quarter proved particularly damaging as they were outscored by 16 points, with the Timberwolves hitting 7 of 11 from three-point range.

Although the Suns‘ big three amassed 76 points, Royce O’Neale, starting for the injured Grayson Allen, failed to score, and Jusuf Nurkic added only three points and seven rebounds.

With the series at 0-3, morale among Suns fans has hit an all-time low. Social media was awash with a blend of anger and sadness following the loss.

Fans also revived Devin Booker’s pre-season statement about how teams would struggle to guard the Suns, mocking the irony given their current predicament.

Kevin Durant’s visibly disappointed expression as the game wound down also caught the attention of many.
