Despite Frank Vogel deploying his bench extensively in the 4th quarter, allowing eight different reserves to see action, there was one player whose number wasn’t called: Isaiah Thomas, who had just signed a 10-day contract with the Suns less than a week prior.

Vogel had previously stated that Thomas’s inclusion would depend on the team’s injury situation, yet fans were eager to see I.T. make an appearance on the court.

In San Antonio, the chants of “We Want I.T.” filled the air as the Suns extended their lead to 30 points with over 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

Thomas acknowledged the chants with a tweet following the win.

The calls for Thomas to play didn’t stop at the arena; they spilled over to social media, where fans expressed their disappointment that Vogel chose not to grant Thomas even a few minutes of playtime.
