The Suns choose to rest their three stars after a very impressive showing during the team’s first preseason game on Sunday.
The trio combined for 35 points on 12-of-20 shooting in only 42 minutes combined in the Suns’ 130-126 victory over the Pistons. They also spearheaded a first quarter in which the team scored 46 points and shot 85% from the floor.

The Suns will be also be without Damion Lee (right knee meniscus), Jordan Goodwin (right hamstring tightness) and Ish Wainright (right calf strain) for the second straight game.
The Suns host the Nuggets tonight with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m. MST.
