Damion Lee suffered a right knee meniscus injury during an on-court workout at the team’s practice facility, according to a press release from the team.

Lee, who will turn 31 later this month, re-signed with the Suns this offseason on a veteran minimum deal.

Lee was a key veteran presence for the Suns last season after coming over from winning a championship with the Warriors. His clutch shooting helped them in several games early in the season, and he proved to be one of the most accurate three-point shooters in the league.

In 74 games played, Lee averaged 8.2 PPG, 3.4 RPG and 1.3 APG and had 44.2/44.5/90.4 splits. He ranked third in the NBA in three-point shooting percentage.

Luckily for the Suns, they are very deep at this position. Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Eric Gordon, Grayson Allen and more highlight the other shooting guards on the team.
