Pondering over whether he would stay in Texas or go to college out-of-state, Bryant Jr. committed to Baylor last August. His hometown of Duncanville is about an hour and a half drive to Waco, the city where Baylor is located.
After taking more time to think about his decision, however, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound lineman announced he had decommitted from the Bears on April 10.
“First, I would like to thank the coaches for giving me the opportunity to play at Baylor University,” Bryant Jr. said. “I would also like to thank my family and HS [High School] coaches for their continued support through the recruitment process. After careful consideration, I am reopening my recruitment and I am decommitting.”
