Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has been sued by sports apparel manufacturer and retailer Fanatics, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Harrison Jr., 21, was selected fourth overall by the Arizona Cardinals in last month’s draft. He has yet to sign a licensing deal with the NFL Players Association. ESPN’s Cardinals beat reporter Josh Weinfuss reported earlier this month that the star receiver is looking to renegotiate the deal he signed with Fanatics for more money, using the fact he hasn’t signed NFLPA licensing deal as leverage. The deal that Harrison signed last year with Ohio State was worth more than $1 million and meant for autographs, signed trading cards, apparel, and marketing opportunities.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is the son of Hall of Fame receiver Marvin Harrison Sr., who earned more than $68 million in his own career with the Indianapolis Colts. Harrison Jr. is selling memorabilia on his own website. He already has a shoe deal with New Balance and recently appeared in a Head ‘N Shoulders commercial.
