The chaos has finally come to a halt on early national signing day, as many of the nation’s best high school football seniors signed to their future college programs.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Arizona boasts some of the best talent in the country, seeing more than 30 recruits rated as three-stars or better by 247sports put pen to paper and sealed the deal. The Greater Phoenix area alone is home to four athlete’s who are considered four-star prospects in the Class of 2025, two of whom are ranked in the top 150 in the country.
For many of the state’s signees, it will be the last time they suit up for an Arizona-based team, at least in the immediate future. Only one of the state’s top ten recruits elected to stay home. Out of 20 total signees, the University of Arizona only signed five in-state recruits; Arizona State signed just two from its group of 21 prospects.
Even though most of the state’s recruits won’t be representing their hometown schools next season, they will still be putting on for Arizona. Take a look at where you’ll be able to find the top athletes from the Greater Phoenix area next season.
Arizona High School Football Top-Ranked Signings
Jamar Beal-Goines, Four-Star CB, Texas A&M: The No. 1 recruit in Arizona and 93rd overall in the country, Beal-Goines is SEC bound. The Desert Edge (Goodyear) standout made it hard for teams in Class 5A to pass this season and will be playing for a state title on Friday at Mountain America Stadium.

Rylon Dillard-Allen, Four-Star CB, Washington: Arizona State losing the commitment of Dillard-Allen was a huge hit to this Sun Devils’ recruiting class. Considered the 145th overall recruit in the country, the four-star committed to ASU in April before retracting his pledge less than a month later. He committed to Washington in July. If Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham could have held on to the Mountain Pointe High School (Phoenix) star, he could’ve been the second highest-ranked Sun Devil signing, instead of the Huskies.

Logan Powell, Four-Star IOL, Wisconsin: Strong yet agile, towering at 6’4″ and 280 pounds, Powell was the staple point of Brophy Prep’s (Phoenix) offensive line, that helped the team finish as the No. 1 overall team in the state at the end of the regular season. With his high school career in the books after losing in the semifinals of the Arizona Interscholastic Athletics Open Division finals, the big man is ready to play some B1G football.
strengthening the trenches ????

Cooper Perry, 4-Star WR, Oregon: Once regarded as the top player in Arizona, the Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale) superstar signed with the Ducks to makeup arguably the best receiver class out of any school in the country. Perry joined No. 1 overall WR in the country Dakorien Moore and No. 4 overall receiver Dallas Wilson as Oregon signees.
Coming to make plays.

Cree Thomas, Three-Star CB, Notre Dame: Thomas followed his teammate Powell out of state, except his future home resides in South Bend, Ind. Thomas is a corner who likes to get in the mix and get dirty, accompanying two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a sack with his 40 total tackles on the season.

Dajon Hinton, Four-Star CB, Arizona: The highest ranked recruit to stay in-state at No. 8 in Arizona, Hinton caused a ruckus, flipping from Arizona State to Arizona over the summer. Originally committed to the Sun Devils, the Hamilton High School (Chandler) defensive back couldn’t pass on the opportunity to play for his father, David, and brother’s, DJ, alma mater.

Garrett Martin, Three-Star EDGE, Kansas: Saguaro High School (Scottsdale) still has some things to figure out since its racial debacle that dismantled the nationally renowned program, but at least the Sabercats were able to fine the silver lining in Martin. The defensive end recorded 10.5 sacks and 5 TFLs. Headed to play his college ball at Big 12 program Kansas, he’ll be back to play in The Valley again one day.

Bleu Dantzler, Three-Star Edge, Oregon State: Basha High School’s (Chandler) stud defensive end was headed to Utah State, committing to the Aggies in September, but quickly changed his mind after receiving a Power 4 offer from the Beavers less than a month later. Dantzler leads the state championship bound Bears in TFLs (28), sacks (12.5) and forced fumbles (3).

Dominic Mitchell, Three-Star Safety, Kansas State: If there is any question why Brophy was so good all season, let this be a reference why. Mitchell is the third Bronco on this list and the state’s No. 11 overall recruit. His 64 total tackles, with included 4 TFLs, finished third on the team.

Luke Haugo, Three-Star QB, Arizona: Many players slipped out of the state, but the Wildcats couldn’t let the state’s top-ranked QB escape. Haugo split-time his senior year with on-the-rise junior quarter Gunner Fagrell in Higley High School’s (Gilbert) offense this season. But with the presenting physical attributes of a starting Division 1 QB, standing at 6’5″, maybe one day he will have the Arizona job all to himself.
