If Arizona State Football head coach Kenny Dillingham has proven anything this year, it’s that he’s shown he knows how to find and sign recruits.

Dec. 4 is early signing day, and the nation’s top high school and junior college recruits will be putting pen to paper to turn their childhood college football dreams into reality.

ASU came into signing day with the 42nd overall recruiting class in the country and fifth in the Big 12, according to 247sports. With a 10-2 regular season and a Big 12 championship ahead, it will be an exciting day for the Sun Devils to build upon an already strong roster.

Signing Updates

Harry Hassman, 3-Star WR, Coppell (Texas): Hassman was the Sun Devils first signing of the day. The 6’1″, 185-pound receiver broke out as one of Texas’ top receivers this season, hauling in 52 receptions for 1,305 yards and 18 touchdowns. He had one touchdown in Coppell’s season-ending, 34-25 playoff loss to MaxPreps’ No. 9 team in the country North Crowley (Texas) last Friday.

Xavier Skowron, 3-Star Safety, Texas City (Texas): One of ASU’s strongest units this season has been its secondary, and the addition of Skowron can only help. Standing at 6′, 180 pounds, the Texas native brings good length and size for the Sun Devils to build on.

Chance Ables, 3-Star WR, Plano East (Texas): Ables didn’t move the need with his numbers this season, playing in a Plano East High School offense that relies on the run and spreads the ball around when passing, but it’s hard to ignore his 6’3″ frame and wonder what ASU redshirt freshman quarterback Sam Leavitt and future QBs will be able to do with a player with that type of size.

Desean Bryant, 3-Star OL, Duncanville (Texas): Bryant is a strong addition to ASU’s offensive line with proven ability to protect the quarterback. Manning the line for the MaxPreps’ No. 3 ranked Duncanville High School, he has made time for five-star Alabama signee Keelon Russell to throw for 3,652 yards and 52 touchdowns this season, and created holes for the Panthers to rush for 1,800 yards this year. Bryant and Duncanville continue their undefeated streak en route to another state title.

Demarius Robinson, 3-Star RB, Santa Fe (Oklahoma): It says a lot if you can still garner the respect and attention from top programs and scouts playing on a team that finished the season 1-9. The first recruit to sign that wasn’t from the state of Texas, Robinson rushed for 1,408 yards and 16 touchdowns on 251 carries, and added 232 receiving yards and two more scores from 17 receptions this season.

Michael “Butter” Tollefson, 3-Star QB, Mountain Pointe (California): Tollefson is on the smaller side when it comes to playing quarterback, standing at 6’1″ but it is not an immediate worry with Leavitt having to suit up for the Sun Devils for at least another season. The QB had a limited season, listed as playing in five games; however, that was still enough for Dillingham who has had a relationship with the new Sun Devil since he was in middle school.

Joseph Smith, 3-Star Safety, Legacy School of Sports Sciences (Texas): Dillingham pulls off another 3-star safety signing out of Texas, bringing in Smith to his secondary. A rangy defensive back at 6’1″, protecting the third level of the field is appearing to be a Sun Devil priority.

Cameron Dyer, 4-Star ATH, La Cueva (New Mexico): ASU officially signed its top commit in Dyer. The No. 1 player in New Mexico and No. 138 overall in the country according to 247sports, Dyer has spent his high school career as a dual-threat quarterback, but will be lining up for the Sun Devils at wide receiver. At 6’4″ and weighing over 200 pounds, Arizona State’s top signee will be a fun project for ASU wide receiver coach Hines Ward.

Tristan Bacon, 3-Star LB, Raymond S. Kellis (Arizona): Bacon was Arizona State’s first instate signing of the day. Playing his high school ball less than an hour away from ASU, Kellis High School’s ironman led his team to a 10-2 finish, rushing for a team-high 783 yards and 12 touchdowns on offense, and recording 88 tackles, 5 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and 2 interceptions on the opposite side of the ball.

Uriah Neloms, 3-Star WR, San Tan Charter (Arizona): Dillingham has found not one, but two big-bodied dual-threat QBs that he feels that the Sun Devils and Ward can get more out of at receiver. Listed at 6’4″ and 200 pounds, Neloms was “Mr. Do It All” for San Tan Charter, throwing for 1,981 yards, 30 touchdowns and only three interceptions, and also leading the team in rushing with 894 yards and 11 scores on the ground.

Rob Lapuaho, 3-Star OL, West (Utah): Lapuaho may not be the biggest signing of the day as far as rank, but by far the biggest in size. Towering at 6’6″, 315 pounds, the Utah native is a hard man to get by in the trenches.

Aaron “AJ” La, 4-Star TE, Orange Lutheran (California): La has proven he can play high-level football, playing at nationally renowned Orange Lutheran in one of the toughest high school football conferences in the country. The tight end was one of 4-star Nebraska signee TJ Lateef’s favorite targets, tied as the team’s leader in receiving touchdowns (6), and finishing second in receptions (45) and receiving yards (523).

Corey Butler Jr., 3-Star WR, Centennial (California): Butler was five-star USC signee Husan Longstreet’s No. 1 target in their senior season. Butler brought in 57 receptions for 941 yards and 11 touchdowns in 11 games, doubling three-star Washington State signee Noah Westbrook’s output in every category.

Alema Losua, 3-Star OT, Bishop Gorman (Nevada): Dillingham is finding offensive lineman in the 2025 class, but to Losua’s credit, it’s kinda hard to miss him. The 6’7″ tackle brings a winning mentality to The Valley, anchoring the offensive line for perennial power, MaxPreps’ national No. 4 Bishop Gorman, which finished the season with 73 total offensive touchdowns and another state title.

Lee “Puka” Fumiano, 3-Star ATH, San Clemente (California): Fumiano is listed as an athlete, but it is more likely we see him on the defensive side of the ball. Playing linebacker for San Clemente, Fumiano is a 6’1.5″, 215-pound run stopper who led his team with 94 tackles.

Benjamin Alefaio, 3-Star Safety, Orange Lutheran (California): Alefaio will make the cross-state trip with high school teammate AJ La to join the Sun Devils. The third safety to sign to ASU from this class, Dillingham is showing an emphasis on strengthening the Sun Devils already solid secondary. Alefaio snatched down a team-high 3 interceptions for Orange Lutheran this season.

Maki Stewart, 3-Star Interior Offensive Lineman, Los Alamitos (California): Arizona State continues to beef up its offensive line with another big body in Stewart. Coming in at 6’5″ and 330 pounds, he is the second 300-plus-pound signee and third offensive lineman over 6’5″ to put pen to paper in this Arizona State recruiting class.

Matai Jefferson, 3-Star Interior Offensive Lineman, Warren (California): The Sun Devils are going to need a big bus to get Jefferson and Stewart down to The Valley. Jefferson’s stamp makes it back-to-back 330-plus-pound signees to strengthen the interior of its offensive line.

Daeshon Morgan, 3-Star Defensive Lineman, Vandergrift (Texas): Morgan is the first defensive line signee from the Class of 2025, and a very good one. The 6’3″, 265-pound defensive monster is a critical factor in a Vandergrift program that is amongst the elite in Texas high school football. His 65 total tackles, 11 TFLs, team-leading 10 sacks, and two forced and recovered fumbles are a key contribution to a Vipers defense that has held teams to 14 points or less in nine out of thirteen games this season.

Manamo’ui Muti, 3-Star OT, Leilehua (Hawaii): Muti is taking the furthest trip of any of his fellow Class of 2025 signees to become a Sun Devil. Hawaii’s fifth ranked overall recruit by 247sports, the OT set a new bar for Dillingham’s offensive line signees, standing at 6’7″ (the tallest signee of the day) and becoming the fourth signee weighing over 300 pounds.

Isaiah Iosefa, 3-Star Linebacker, Mililani (Hawaii): Back-to-back signings from the islands to the mainland warrants a sigh of relief, as Iosefa was the last ’25 commit who was already committed to the Sun Devils to officially etch his name onto his National Letter of Intent. The 6’1″, 210-pound recruit became ASU’s third LB signing of the day.
