On Sunday, Coppell (Texas) High School receiver Harry Hassmann continued Arizona State’s “Texas2Tempe” movement as he will become a Sun Devil next season.

“First, and most importantly, I would like to give thanks and glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God has done so much for me in my life and will continue to. My life is a living testimony of how faithful, true, strong and amazing our God is,” Hassmann said on X/Twitter. “I would like to thank my dad for believing in me so much, being there for me through everything and just everything he has done for me. I would like to thank my mom for doing so much behind the scenes and being there for me. I would like to thank my sister and brother for being great siblings and being there for me. I would like to thank the Coppell football program, my teammates and the Coppell coaching staff for welcoming me in so quickly and giving me a family outside of my home. There isn’t a coaching staff or team I would rather be on in the world.

“I would like to thank Coach Wiley, Coach Naragon and Coach Newsome for believing in me, mentoring me and shaping me into becoming a better football player and person every day. I would like to thank the staff at APEC and APEC Medical for helping me become better each day. I would like to thank DeAndre Goolsby for being a mentor and helping me get 1% better every day. I would like to thank Coach [Kenny] Dillingham, Coach [Marcus] Arroyo, Coach [Hines] Ward, and Coach White for believing in me and can’t wait for the great things we are going to accomplish at ASU football.”

In his senior year, Hassmann and the Cowboys are 11-0 overall, 7-0 in their district and the third-best high school team in Texas, according to MaxPreps. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound wideout has played all 11 games for Coppell, racking up 45 catches for 1,209 yards and 16 touchdowns as well as 12 kick returns.

He received prior offers from Yale, UTEP, UAB, Southeast Missouri State, Navy, Lafayette, Montana, James Madison, Colgate, Ball State, Army, Air Force and Central Michigan before announcing his commitment to ASU. Hassmann is ranked as a three-star recruit by 247Sports.

So far in November, Arizona State has seen five recruits taking up the opportunity to join the program from the high school classes of either 2025 or 2026. Hassmann, Ables, Scott, Dripping Springs (Tex.) High School wide receiver Cooper Reid and Liberty High School’s (Peoria) local standout Zeth Thues have all committed since Nov. 11.

Hassmann is the 21st recruit and the fifth receiver commit of the 2025 class. Hassman Ables, Scott, San Tan Charter (Gilbert) wideout Uriah Neloms and Centennial (Calif.) High School’s Cory Butler will all be new additions to ASU receivers coach Hines Ward’s room next year. Dallastown (Pa.) Area High School wide receiver Michael Scott and Weiss (Tex.) High School receiver Adrian Wilson (Colorado commit) both decommitted in October.
