Decommitting from TCU, Ables was the first out of the trio to announce that he would become a Sun Devil. Over the weekend, he took an official visit to Tempe before his decision. Ables also received offers from Baylor, Toledo, Kansas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia State, Tulsa and Oklahoma State before his original pledge to TCU.
According to MaxPreps, Ables has amassed 245 yards, four touchdowns and 16 catches in six games into his senior season. He is ranked as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and is set to join Dillingham’s program in 2025.
Like Ables, Scott plans to play for ASU next season.
Standing at 6-foot-7, the Virginia native Scott is a high-rated wide receiver from the 2025 junior college class. UTEP, Temple, Georgia State, Florida State and Western Michigan all had offered Scott.
For the Bears, Scott has 20 catches for 358 yards and four touchdowns in eight games so far. He is regarded as a three-star recruit and the best receiver in JUCO on 247Sports‘ composite rankings.
ASU is now up to 21 commits from the 2025 class following Dallastown (Pa.) Area High School wide receiver Michael Scott and Weiss (Tex.) High School receiver Adrian Wilson both decommitting in October. Raymond S. Kellis High School linebacker and Glendale native Tristan Bacon was the most recent Sun Devils commit before Scott and Ables.
Joining Del Valle (Tex.) High School quarterback Jake Fette as an Arizona State commit from the class of 2026, Reid is the second junior recruit for the Sun Devils.
Reid has accumulated 834 yards and 13 touchdowns from 50 catches through 10 games this season. The three-star recruit attracted offers from California, Washington State, UTSA, North Texas, Minnesota, Houston and Kansas.
