News came out a few hours ago of former Phoenix Suns legends Amar’e Stoudemire and Shawn Marion getting their jersey’s retired at a ring of honor ceremony via Shams Charania.

Stoudemire and Marion were teammates together for 5 years in Phoenix and had a lot of unforgettable moments in the NBA. Them two as well as Steve Nash formed a formidabble big three that terrorized teams in the Western Conference for years.
Stoudemire during his career with the Suns avearged 1.4 Blocks per game well as nod 4 All-NBA trophies and won rookie of the year.
Marion during his career with the Suns averaged a double-double as well as get 1.4 blocks per game and is top 5 all-time in points, rebounds, and blocks in Suns history.

Suns new owner Mat Ishbia took to twitter to congratulate the two veterans on a great honorary moment for them.

Ishbia also released a statement congratulating the two legends on a rare accomplishment and feat.
“Shawn and Amar’e are two of the very best to ever wear a Phoenix Suns uniform,” said Mat Ishbia, owner of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury. “Shawn changed the game with his elite versatility and Amar’e was one of the most electrifying players the league has ever seen. Shawn and Amar’e helped define the Suns and inspired generations of fans, and our Suns family is incomplete without them in the Ring of Honor.
“As we embark on the new era of Suns basketball it is a priority that we remain connected to our storied history. We are excited to celebrate Shawn and Amar’e and properly recognize their incredible contributions and achievements.”
Suns franchise guard Devin Booker got in on the congratulatory messages with a tweet of his own right toward two of the Suns legends.
