Payne brought many great moments to the Phoenix Suns. On the bench he averaged 10 points per game to go along with 4 assists per game.
He was a main catalyst for the Suns in the Monty Williams era coming off the bench and showing off his high energy. It makes sense why he said what he says as there’s validity ton it based on how he’s produced for the team.
The Suns are now heading in a new direction with Jordan Goodwin likely being the backup point guard this season as well as Eric Gordon being the teams new 6th man player.
