PHOENIX — The shorts for the new Phoenix Suns city edition jerseys appeared to leak on social this morning.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The purple shorts pay homage to the 1995 All-Star Game uniform, as the 2024-25 season will be the 30th anniversary of when Phoenix hosted the game. The Suns have since hosted the game in 2009 and will also play host in 2027, but this 1995 uniform, which was worn by the Eastern Conference, has always been iconic.

The shorts also have green and orange stripes along the waistband and the bottom of the legs. There is a purple and orange triangular pattern that runs up the legs and the Eastern Conference logo on the original shorts is replace with the Suns logo.
According to multiple reports, the jersey that accompanies the shorts will look similar to the All-Star game jersey, but say ‘The Valley” on it, something that has recently become a staple since the Suns released the original “The Valley” jerseys in 2021.

Last year’s city edition jerseys were a lighter purple and said “El Valle” on them, paying homage to both the past “The Valley” jerseys and “Los Suns” jerseys.
