Millennium began the game on fire and led for almost the entirety of the first half. However, driven by five-star recruit Koa Peat, Perry climbed back.
As Perry took the lead entering fourth-quarter play, Millennium kept it close but could not do enough down the stretch.
The Pumas (25-6) have won their third straight championship. They won the 6A title in 2021 before the open bracket was introduced and have since brought home each of the state’s two state championships.
