The Millennium Tigers have secured a spot in the Championship game following a dominant 65-38 win against the Notre Dame Prep Saints on Wednesday.

Millennium headed into this game as the lower seed but did not play like it whatsoever.
Millennium look to stay hot, facing NDP in Open State Semifinals
After leading by single digits through the first half, the Tigers (25-4) overwhelmed Notre Dame Prep in the second half. Millennium outscored them by 18 points during the final 16 minutes of play.
They now extend their win streak to 10 games.
Defensively, the Tigers were unbelievable. The Saints scored at least 60 points in all but one game this season and were held to under 4o on Wednesday.
State Championship Game
Millennium will now have a chance to dethrone the reigning Open State Champion Perry Pumas. It is worth noting that the Tigers have had no trouble against some of the state’s top-ranked teams this season.
Millennium crushes Notre Dame Prep as top-ranked teams face off
Led by five-star recruit Koa Peat, the Pumas have remained the team to beat all season long. They defeated Basha 63-46 in the Semifinals.
This will be an incredible matchup between the state’s top two teams. Tip-off is set for Saturday, March 2 @ 8 p.m. at Arizona’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix.
