The Diamondbacks are back in the win column after a 5-2 victory over the Miami Marlins.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Zac Gallen once again proved why he is one of the most dominant pitchers in the entire league. Gallen picked up his fifth win of the season by throwing seven innings, allowing just one run. His ERA has now dropped below 2.3.
The offense behind Gallen also remained strong, recording 13 hits against the Marlins’ pitchers.
This strong offensive performance was led by C Gabriel Moreno, who has provided one of the most consistent bats in the Diamondbacks lineup this season. Moreno’s three-hit night brought his season batting average back above .300.
Christian Walker also had a big night, including a 459-foot bomb to give the Diamondbacks a lead in the sixth inning. It was his ninth of the year, which is fifth in the National League.

Walker also drove in the D-backs first run of the game with a double in the fourth inning.
The Diamondbacks can now secure another series win on Tuesday night. Brandon Pfaadt will be making his second career start for Arizona.
