Suns +142 odds to advance to Western Conference Finals

Despite tying up the series 2-2 against the Denver Nuggets, the Phoenix Suns are still slight underdogs to move on according to FanDuel sportsbook.

After Denver took two in a-row at their home court, the Suns answered right back, doing the exact same. Now, the Suns will be back on the road for Game 5, followed by a home game, and if necessary, Game 7 will take place back in Denver.

The Nuggets held one of the best home regular-season records, losing just seven out of 41 matchups. This trailed only the Memphis Grizzles, who were eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round.

However, the Suns know firsthand that a 2-0 series lead is all but impossible to overcome in the playoffs. This time last year, Phoenix held a 2-0 lead over the Dallas Mavericks, and everybody knows now how that ended.

Not to mention, the Suns also held a 2-0 lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2021 NBA Finals. They then went on to lose four-straight, handing the trophy over to the Bucks.

While in Phoenix’s long history, they have never conquered a series after trailing 2-0, if there was a roster capable of doing so, this would be it.

With Devin Booker on one of the greatest playoff terrors of all time and Kevin Durant slowly but surely adjusting to his new home, these next two or three games will surely live up to the hype.

As they head on the road for a pivotal Game 5 in Denver, the Suns are +142 underdogs to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

If Phoenix does come out victorious on Tuesday, they will have a chance to close it out on their home court on Thursday.
