The debut of the big trio was the biggest thing on everybody’s mind as Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks, and Jalen Green were finally on the floor together and showing how their talents would not only flow together, but also with the young role players surrounding them.

Some fans may point to the fact that Lakers stars LeBron James and Luka Doncic were out, and that this was just preseason, though this game means more. It’s a signal to their rival and Western Conference opponent that they are putting in the work, while they work on load management and worrying about minor injuries.

This isn’t just a preseason game for Suns fans, as they are ready for basketball to be back on their screens. Especially after how the whole Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal saga ended, Phoenix fans are ready for this new trio to hopefully shift the culture with Devin Booker being the focal point.
Beating the Lakers, even in the preseason, could galvanize a young locker room. Devin Booker knows a thing or two about what it’s like to take down one of the Suns’ rivals, let alone the Los Angeles Lakers. The Suns will now begin their journey to China for its game against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, October 10th, with tip-off coming at 5:00 a.m. PT.
