One of the hot mics near the basket picked up what the Phoenix Suns shooting guard had to say after a missed hook shot layup from Lakers’ Center DeAndre Ayton.
What did Suns SG Devin Booker say to Ayton:
It was short, subtle, but spoke volumes: “Hell nah.”

Speculation online first came about when it happened, as at first they were unaware of who had remarked. Soon enough, it was spotted that Booker was the one who had something to say.

Earlier, before the preseason game, Booker was asked about Ayton’s future with the Lakers, and his response was, “We’ll have to wait and see.” This reaction was not only felt by former teammates in the past, but by Suns fans as well, who felt Ayton was holding the Suns back during his time in Phoenix.
