Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who exited early in last weekend’s loss to the Green Bay Packers due to a concussion, returned to practice on Thursday as a non-contact participant. Although Harrison remains in the league’s concussion protocol, the Cardinals are optimistic about his availability for Monday’s game. Gannon spoke highly of Harrison’s recovery, telling AZCentral’s Theo Mackie, “It’s been really encouraging.”

Right tackle Jonah Williams, who suffered a knee injury in Week 1, is now expected to return later this season. Initially, there were concerns that he could miss the entire year, but recent reports suggest a possible return in November. Williams, a former first-round pick, signed a two-year, $30 million contract during the offseason and has been on injured reserve since his injury.

Gannon praised Williams’ dedication to recovery, saying, “He’s doing extremely well. He’s with me every morning—early. He gets his work done, comes back multiple times. He’s positive and making good strides.”

Wide receiver Zay Jones, who missed the first five games of the season due to suspension and was sidelined in Week 6 with an injury, was a full participant in Thursday’s practice. Last season with the Jaguars, Jones averaged 35 receiving yards per game.

The Cardinals will face their first prime-time test of the season against the Chargers, who enter Monday night with the league’s top defense in points allowed per game.
