The 33-year-old Golden had just re-signed with the Steelers last week before the team announced he would be placed on this list.

Golden spent parts of seven of his nine NFL seasons donning the red and white with Arizona after being drafted 58th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Cardinals.

In 2019, he left Arizona and signed with the New York Giants, but was traded back to the Cardinals midway through the 2020 season for a sixth-round pick. Golden, known as “The Junkyard Dog,” then never missed a game with the Cardinals before signing with the Steelers ahead of the 2023 season.

In his 88 games played for Arizona (51 starts), Golden racked up 218 tackles, 47 tackles for loss and 35.5 sacks. He also had 97 QB hits, 11 forced fumbles and an interception in these contests.

Two of Golden’s three double-digit sack seasons came with the Cardinals, as he recorded 12.5 sacks in 2016 and 11.0 in 2021.

Last season in Pittsburgh, Golden played in 16 games and notched 20 tackles and four sacks as a rotational piece.

For his NFL career, Golden recorded 343 tackles, 68 tackles for loss, 51 sacks, 140 QB hits and 11 forced fumbles in 127 games.
