Coach Jonathan Gannon told the media the news ahead of Cardinals practice today.

Harrison previously expressed his desire to play in the preseason.

“I remember going to college last year, sometimes you don’t really get to have those pre-full speed game reps until the first game of the season, so they would definitely benefit me a lot at this level,” Harrison said of the preseason games.

Gannon has said that Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will not be playing at all in the preseason, so it will be one of Desmond Ridder or Clayton Tune under center on Saturday. Ridder was listed as the QB2 behind Murray on the team’s first depth chart, while Tune was QB3, as the two have been splitting reps this preseason.

Harrison was already listed as the WR1 on this depth chart and has been Murray’s top option during training camp after being selected No. 4 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.

Saturday’s game kicks off at 5 p.m. MST from State Farm Stadium.
