Considering the Sun Devils’ longtime struggles, bringing in an NFL legend with the knowledge that Ward possesses is a win.
Throughout his 14-year career, the Georgia product made three All-Pro teams, won two Super Bowls, as well as Super Bowl MVP for his dominant performence over the Seattle Seahawks in 2006 where Ward finished with 141 total yards and a touchdown.
With Jaden Rashada expected to be back at full strength for the start of the season, ASU looks to establish a consistent passing attack.
The wide receiver room has a ton to learn from Ward, led by returning receiver Elijah Badger, and transfers Jake Smith and Jordyn Tyson.
