It was reported that the injury occurred in a non-football-related incident.

Rashada started at QB for the Sun Devils as a true freshman. However, he suffered a knee injury after just two games and was forced to miss the next nine.

During his three total starts, Rashada threw for 485 yards and four touchdowns as well as three interceptions.

The California native impressed right away and flashed potential that Arizona State and its fans should be excited for.

Behind Rashada, the QB room consists of senior Trenton Bourguet, former Michigan State’s Sam Leavitt, and the valley’s own true freshman Navi Bruzon.

Head coach Kenny Dillingham is excited about the depth and competition their QB room brings the team.

“I think we’re gonna have a good competition in the Spring,” Dillingham said. “Adding Sam and Navi to the room adds pretty good depth there.”

ASU’s Big-12 debut is scheduled for August 31 against Wyoming. Despite the injury, Rashada should still be available to start for the Sun Devils.
