Former ASU and Shadow Mountain guard Jaelen House named Reese’s All-Star Game MVP

In a return to the Valley, former Arizona State and Shadow Mountain guard Jaelen House was named the 2024 Reese’s NABC All-Star Game Most Valuable Player.

The All-Star Game was played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, which is also home to the 2024 NCAA Men’s Final Four.

House scored 16 points and helped the West team to an 87-75 victory over the East.

He is coming off a historic season where the Phoenix native led the New Mexico Lobos to their first Mount West Title in a decade. This secured House and the Lobos an NCAA Tournament bid.

The former Sun Devil spent his high school career in the Valley and helped lead Shadow Mountain to four straight 4A State Championships.

Regardless of what his basketball future holds, House will forever be remembered in Phoenix for the success that he’s had.
