GLENDALE – In just three years, is the Marvin Harrison Jr. experience over with the Arizona Cardinals. Through the first four games, the 24-year-old only has five catches on 13 targets for 85 yards and one touchdown. The former fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft entered the league bright-eyed and dangerous expectations hanging over him. And in just 33 career games those expectations have collapsed on top of him and seemingly shaken his confidence.

His teammate and coaches have praised Harrison’s ability to silence the noise and keep working in the facility and practice. However, once its gametime, the results haven’t matched the work. Even with the lack of production and on-field self esteem issues, Harrison is still a very valuable assets for opposing teams according to BetOnline Sports and Casino, who has five heavy favorites looking at Harrison.

Favorites to land former top pick:

  • Colts +300
  • Chiefs +400
  • Raiders +500
  • Dolphins +600
  • Jets +800

At 6’3, 220, he is the prototypical deep threat wide receiver and endzone threat for teams. The Colts and Chiefs both losing their star wide receivers to injury lead them to being the top two teams for Harrison. Raiders only have one wideout with over 70 receiving yards on the year, while the Dolphins lack dynamic playmakers with only one receiving touchdown in 2026.

One of Harrison’s greatest strength is finding the endzone, with 13 touchdowns in his career, with 8 of them coming inside the redzone. His frame allows him plenty of mismatches on fades and man coverage situations. That type of skill is very attractive to opposing teams, leading to a high interest around the league.

Does any of this mean Harrison will actually be dealt? No. And the Cardinals trading Harrison when his value is the lowest it has ever been would be malpractice. Arizona will surely wait to see if things can smooth out in the next five games, or till the November 15th trade deadline. The potential, skillset and work ethic is present for him, but the franchise will need to see the production or it could be the end of Harrison in the Valley.
