San Luis seeks first 6A title

The Sidewinders (13-0-1) have put together yet another dominant season.

They have one clear goal in mind and that is to get over the hump and win a state championship. The team finished as 6A runner-up in two of the last three years.

San Luis entered the bracket as the No. 2 seed and outscored their first two playoff opponents 6-0.

Shadow Ridge in for a tough quarterfinal matchup with San Luis

They now enter this tough semifinal matchup with a chance to secure a spot in the championship game. The title match will be played on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Toros remain dangerous

The Toros (18-1-2) have lost just one game this season and have proven to be one of the most dangerous teams in Arizona.

It is worth noting that Mountain View has faced and defeated the other two teams remaining in the bracket this season, Perry and Mesa.

This will be each of these teams’ toughest matchup yet, with only one team being able to advance to the finals.
