The Tigers once again did what they have done to in-state opponents all year long and that is dominate on all levels of the floor.
After a back-and-forth first half, the Tigers took control in the second half and did not look back. Sophomore Cameron Holmes led all scorers with 21 points.

Millennium headed into this game ranked as the No. 13 team in the state, according to MaxPreps. Notre Dame Prep ranked as No. 2.
These rankings will change as the Tigers have proven that they should be considered a top-three team in the state. They have now beaten three opponents that could be considered top-10 teams in Sunnyslope, Brophy College Prep, and now Notre Dame Prep.

While this is still only regular-season play, it further solidifies how serious of a contender Millennium is this season.
Open Division outlook
Arizona’s second-annual Open Division basketball playoffs are right around the corner.
Each of these teams will enter the bracket and be ranked relatively highly. In last season’s bracket, Millennium was knocked out in the second round while the Saints lost in the quarterfinals.
There are several teams that have a real opportunity to be named open state champs this year. When it comes down to playoff time, it is win or go home for these programs.
