PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks always plays with physicality and attitude, but on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets, that physicality went a little too far.

Midway through the third quarter, Brooks attempted a turnaround shot, but as he jumped, he kicked Denver guard Jamal Murray in the groin. The initial foul call was made in real time, but after a review by officials, it was upgraded to a flagrant 2 foul and Brooks was ejected from the game.
In what was already a tense back-and-forth Game 1 of the NBA Cup, Brooks’ ejection sparked reactions online from Phoenix supporters and basketball fans.

Dillon Brooks gets ejected for something Kobe did his whole career a little leg kick to the nuts. Brooks was having a good night also that’s a shame. A little harsh on the ruling imo
