Will Purdy attend

The ceremony will be held at the Hamilton High School Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m.

If he chooses to, the MVP candidate will be able to attend the event. It is happening six days after Super Bowl LVIII  in Las Vegas.

Whether the 49ers defeat the Chiefs or not may play a role in if Purdy does decide to attend. There will be no way to tell until right before or the day of the event.

Purdy’s high school career

Purdy played on the Pumas’ varsity team from 2015-2017.

Over his last two seasons with Perry, he totaled 9,631 yards and 115 touchdowns. This is looked at as one of the most dominant stretches ever for a high school football quarterback.

He also led the team to a state championship appearance during his senior year but fell just short against the Chandler Wolves.

The Arizona native’s impact will never be forgotten at Perry and this induction is more than deserving.
