The Kings (9-2) started the season with nine straight victories but lost their last two games to the Oceanside Pirates and Palos Verdes Sea Kings of California.
Despite the back-to-back disappointing losses, Kofa has still outscored opponents by over 50 goals and was ranked as a top-10 team in the state a few weeks ago.
They are coming off a season where they finished with a 16-7 record and entered the 5A playoffs as the No. 12 seed. The team made an incredible run as a lower seed but fell short to No. 1 seed Ironwood Eagles in the semifinal.
San Luis Back With Vengence
The Sidewinders (4-0-1) have won four straight games after drawing with the Mesa Jackrabbits in their first game of the season. They have yet to give up a goal this season, continuing their dominant defensive play from last season.
San Luis finished last season with a 16-1 record and entered the 6A state playoffs as the No. 2 seed. The team got to the championship with ease but lost 2-0 to the Perry Pumas in the title game.

They are currently the No. 11 ranked team in the state as they look to get back to the 6A championship and come away with a victory.
Both Kofa and San Luis are undoubtedly elite teams, making this a crucial match that should be tuned into.
