Valley Christian Back Dominating

After starting the season with 11 straight victories, the Trojans lost their first game of the season to the Clovis West Golden Eagles on Day One of the Mesa Basketball Challenge. This was a close loss against an elite California team.

The Trojans answered with a 33-point victory against the Royals on Day Two of the tournament. Junior forward Kyle Grier had an incredible game, as he ended with 26 points.

Valley Christian is still a top-10 ranked team in the state and proved why that is still the case on Thursday.

Next Up

The Trojans next face off against the 2-3 Timpview Thunderbirds of Utah during Day Three of the challenge. While this is an out-of-state team, Valley Christian has proven to be able to hold their own against teams all over the country.

Tune into Friday’s game and keep a close eye on the Trojans as they’re on their way to another 3A championship.
