Mountain View Turn It Around
The Toros (7-6) lost each of their first two games during the Mesa basketball challenge. They were defeated 75-46 by Houston Christian and 58-47 by Utah’s Timpview.
While the first two days did not go the way Mountain View wanted, they turned it around on Day Three.
Despite the Royals now being just 3-9, this victory gave the Toros the momentum and confidence they needed after taking two crushing losses to start the tournament.

Mountain View next face off against the 5-5 Capital Christian Cougars of California, who have lost their first two games of the challenge as well.
This matchup will take place on Saturday, Dec. 30 @ 5:30 p.m. It will be played at Mountain View High School, giving the Toros more home-court advantage.
