The Sunnyside Blue Devils Varsity Boys Soccer team has started the 2023 Arizona Soccer Showcase with two dominating performances.

The 2023 Arizona Soccer Showcase is being hosted by Hamilton High School. It consists of several Arizona varsity soccer teams from different conferences.
The Blue Devils (13-0) defeated the Ironwood Eagles and Basha Bears during the first two days of the showcase while outscoring them 9-1. Defeating Ironwood 5-1 was especially impressive considering the Eagles are a top-10 ranked team in the state and have been elite this season.
Sunnyside's boys soccer team has achieved a No. 25 national ranking by MaxPreps, climbing 20 spots from the previous poll. Sunnyside continues to hold the spot of the top-ranked team in the state and this does not look like it will change anytime soon. They have outscored opponents 81-9 and have been on a completely different level than anyone else in the state.
Next Up For Sunnyside
The Blue Devils next match up against the 8-1-3 Desert Vista Thunder on Friday, who have also been elite and are currently ranked No. 11 in the state.
Sunnyside will try to stay undefeated and continue their dominant path to a championship on Friday
