The Mesa Jackrabbits Varsity Boys Soccer team is not one you want to face right now.
Mesa’s Steaming Start
The Jackrabbits (6-0-1) have outscored opponents 21-4 and have shut out five of their opponents to start the season.
Their last match ended in a close overtime victory against the defending 6A champion Perry Pumas.

Despite the crucial win against one of the state’s most talented teams, Mesa knows there is a long season ahead of them.
They are coming off a season where they finished 14-6-2 and lost to Tucson High in the second round of the playoffs.
Next Up
The team’s next game comes on Tuesday, Dec. 19 against the 0-6 Cesar Chavez Champions.

While this should be a relatively easy win for the Jackrabbits, it is a game they should not take lightly.
There are 10 regular season games left for Mesa, as they attempt to make a playoff run and come away with the 6A conference championship.
