His Career In Arizona
After playing his sophomore year at Burleson High School in Texas, Raiola transferred to Chandler High in December 2021.
Before starting a game for Chandler, the five-star recruit committed to Ohio State University.
Raiola led the Wolves to a 9-3 record during his junior season, before losing to Basha in the open division semifinals.

He then de-committed from Ohio State and transferred to Pinnacle High School, where he would only be for about six months.
Georgia Commitment
Immediately after his junior year, Raiola committed to the University of Georgia. He transferred to Georgia for his senior season where he would play for the Buford Wolves.
Raiola threw for 2666 yards and 34 touchdowns with just one interception during his senior year. He led the team to an 11-2 record but fell short in the playoffs.

While Georgia has not had issues with finding quarterbacks, Raiola was someone the team was thrilled to have for his college career potentially.
Dylan Raiola Changes Nebraska Football
Raiola is the number one quarterback recruit in the entire country from the class of 2024, according to ESPN.
This is a huge pickup for Matt Rhule and the Nebraska Cornhuskers, as Raiola is the program’s highest-ranked recruit pickup in over 15 years.
Now imagine what a 5 ⭐️ QB is going for.

As shown in the video, a large part of why Raiola chose Nebraska is the connection he and his family have with the program. His father, Dominic Raiola started at center for the team from 1998 to 2000. Dominic then went on to play and start for the Detroit Lions for 14 seasons.
Another connection they have with the program is that Dylan’s uncle, Donovan Raiola is currently the team’s offensive line coach.
This is a significant flip for Dylan but one that he is fully confident in, as is Matt Rhule and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
