BREAKING: Arizona State Lands Commit From Top 4-Star Running Back

The big domino in ASU’s 2024 class has officially fallen. Jason Brown Jr., an RB from Seattle, has officially committed to Arizona State.

Brown was the top offer left for Arizona State. He was the only player Arizona State offered that was “warm” on 247sports.com. The Washington native is the first RB in ASU’s 2024 class. He is also the first nationally ranked-player in this class. Brown is ranked 176th in the class of 2024.

Brown, a Senior at O’Dea High School in Seattle, is a 5’10 205 pound RB. He is currently the #13 RB in the entire country. He is the #3 ranked RB in Washington. Arizona State beat out 20 other Power 5 teams to land Brown. Those schools included Oregon, Washington, Michigan State, Alabama, Penn State, and more.

The fact that Arizona State was able to land him is due to the culture Kenny Dillingham has built in his first year. Dillingham’s massive fundraising efforts have allowed moves like this to happen. Not to mention, Brown reposted Marcus Arroyo’s hiring to his Twitter profile, so he was a big fan of the move.

This is the best recruit Dillingham has landed in his tenure, and he will be a massive addition to a Sun Devils roster that just lost Javen Jacobs to the transfer portal.
