Ryan Clark Shows High Praise to ASU’s Kenny Dillingham

Kenny Dillingham has already started to build a great culture at ASU, but he also has been shown to care about his players. Today, on Ryan Clark’s show, Clark shared a story that proves how great of a coach Kenny Dillingham is.

Ryan Clark, father of former ASU cornerback Jordan Clark, shared a story while Jordan and he were visiting Notre Dame. While they were on the visit, he shared that Kenny Dillingham called Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman and raved about Clark for 10 minutes. Clark would end up committing to Notre Dame.

“He raved about Jordan for 5-10 minutes,” Clark said. “He talked about what he was as a leader, how much he worked, and how much everyone at Arizona State loved him.”

After this, Ryan Clark gives Dillingham major praise.

“To any kid who Kenny Dillingham walks into your home. When he tells you that he’s going to take care of you and care about you far beyond what you can do for Arizona State, that’s a true testament to what he’s saying when he’s sitting in your home.” Clark said, “Jordan Clark can no longer do things for Arizona State and Dillingham. But he took time out to say kind words about him to another head coach. I just wanted to say thank you to Kenny Dillignham and Arizona State.”

That is massive praise from a well-respected voice in the media world. Like Clark said, a true testament to Kenny Dillingham’s beliefs as a coach.

He is not the only member of the Clark family to shout out Dillingham. Under Jordan Clark’s transfer tweet, a fan bashed Dillingham for the amount of transfers leaving Arizona State. Clark took offense to this and immediately defended his coach.

Clearly, Dillingham has greatly impacted Clark’s life and shows that his culture works.
