Terry Bradshaw: “He don’t wanna work with that quarterback”

Over the past couple weeks, no NFL player may have faced the same amount of heat and pressure as Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray.

After being a highly proclaimed and talented player, Murray has seen his public image quickly slip and has accumulated an absurd amount of criticism.

It began with the independent study time clause that was included in his massive $250.5 million contract, which he signed over the offseason.

Although removed, the clause stained fans’ expectations of the young quarterback. Additionally, it left many questioning his work ethic.

And now, as the Cardinals struggle to find a new head coach, many fingers are pointing at Kyler Murray as the problem.

During an interview at the Super Bowl festivities in Arizona this week, Hall of Fame quarterback and now FOX NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw revealed perhaps a little too much.

Bradshaw spoke on the topic of Sean Payton and why the Hall of Fame coach did not take the job with the Cardinals despite sitting down for a seven-hour interview with owner Michael Bidwill.

Bradshaw claims that Sean Payton simply did not want to deal with “that quarterback.”

While Murray deals with his lengthy road to recovery from his ACL tear in Week 14, there is no question that the former number one overall pick has plenty of critics to silence next season.

The career-defining offseason for Kyler Murray has just begun.
