Bridges, who’s been adamant about his desire to stay in Phoenix, reacted once more on Twitter.

Bridges has long been linked to Durant dating back to last offseason. The Brooklyn Nets had an urge to move Durant, who was then disgruntled with the organization.

Bridges isn’t alone in the deal, as forward Cameron Johnson along with Jae Crowder will also make their way to the Nets. Phoenix also sent out four first-round picks in the megadeal along with a pick swap.

The Suns will also be receiving forward T.J. Warren in the exchange.

Durant named the Suns one of his preferred destinations during the offseason frenzy. The Suns were rumored to be engaging heavy in the Durant sweepstakes, with Bridges and Johnson being focal points of the deal.

The Nets were in an odd predicament to move on from Durant after having to part ways with guard Kyrie Irving on Sunday.

For Phoenix, Durant will join a starting core of Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton. At current, they would pose one of the more offensively threatening teams in the league.
