The beautiful thing about living in Phoenix, is how sports driven the city is. The Diamondbacks, Cardinals, Arizona, and Arizona State all have big games this weekend. I have bets on all of them, this is the perfect weekend to bet on Arizona sports.

University of Arizona +11 v Mississippi State
This line opened at 10, immediately I wrote it down in my book to take. Just now it has moved to +11. Arizona Wildcats have a new coach who is looking to turn things around in a hurry.
After last weekend watching them dominate San Diego State last weekend, I knew this team was for real. In the 38-20 victory the Wildcats were in control the entire game. Quarterback Jayden de Laura threw for an impressive 22/35 for 299 yards, 4 touchdowns and 1 INT.
They will welcome a Mississippi State team this weekend with intentions on sending them home with a loss. The defense was even more impressive than de Laura, forcing San Diego State to punt the ball 5 times, also forcing 1 fumble and getting 1 interception. SD State went 2/11 on 3rd downs, only achieving 232 yards at 4 yards per play.
Give me this new and improved Arizona team to go 2-0 this weekend, winning this game on defense by forcing punts and turnovers again. However I will not be mad at taking the 11 points, give me the University of Arizona +11 this Saturday against Mississippi State.Â
Arizona State +11 v Oklahoma State
This game is a little trickier because of the easy game ASU had in week 1. However Oklahoma State showed me that they do not plan on playing any defense this season in their season debut. Almost made me want to take the over 58.5 on this game, yet I have other thoughts.
Arizona State ran the ball at will last weekend, which melted the clock as well as rested their defense. Xazavian Valladay led the charge with 15 carries for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. Quarterback Emory Jones also had 11 carries for 48 yards and 2 touchdowns of his own rushing, along with completing 13 of 18 passing attempts for 152 yards.
I see this game being competitive the whole way through, I can not decide if it will be 21-18 or 52-49. So what I will do is take the Arizona State Sun Devils at +11 against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.Â

Arizona Cardinals +6.5 v Kansas City Chiefs & Over 53.5
With all of the injuries, this line has moved 4 points since open. I would not be surprised to see a +7.5 by kickoff Sunday. Everybody and their cousins are putting money on the Chiefs, except for me. I will have money on Cardinals +6.5 and the over 53.5 on this game.
Kyler Murray and Patrick Mahomes are going to put on a show this Sunday. Both carving up the defense for scoring drive after scoring drive. I expect this game to be a one touchdown game or less, with one of these teams breaking 50 on their own.
Both of these teams have defensive issues, wether thats with new players or with injuries this week. Add that to the fact that both of these teams have two of the most potent offenses in the league with absolute superstars under center. Give me, separately (no parlays), Arizona Cardinals +6.5 v Kansas City Chiefs and the over 53.5.
Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 v Colorado Rockies
This is one of the worse places for a pitcher to pitch. I have the over on this game tonight that hit in the 5th inning and I will have the over Saturday night with Bumgarner and Ureña pitching.
However Zac Gallen will pitching on Sunday afternoon, and I am calling it now. 5.2 innings 4 hits 0 runs 6 strikeouts. (just a guess). The Arizona Diamondbacks will win this game in a more low scoring fashion for Coors Field in Colorado, 7-3. Covering the run line of -1.5 easily.
