GREEN BAY — Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was selected No. 8 overall by the Carolina Panthers in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday night.

He finished this last season with 84 catches for 1,319 total yards and averaging 15.7 yards per carry.

Being compared to the likes of Tee Higgins, Drake London, and even George Pickens, all stars known form their hard skills and physicality, have made him a prized target going into the draft. The Panthers, coming off a 5-12 record, land a much-needed receiver who will help stretch the field and dominate for their quarterback Bryce Young.
It is expected that Arizona will have multiple players get picked up throughout the entirety of the weekend, and McMillan’s selection is just the beginning. It will be interesting to see what he will be able to produce in Carolina.
