GREEN BAY — University of Arizona kicker Tyler Loop is headed to the NFL, selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the No. 186 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Loop capped off a standout college career by becoming the second Wildcat to hear his name called this weekend. During his time at Tucson, he worked to be one of the most consistent place kickers in program history, converting 63 of 80 field goal attempts (83.8%) over his collegiate career, and went six of nine on field goals at 50 or more yards.
Loop wanted to be a Raven, even ordering a vintage shirt prior to his name even being called so that he would be prepared. Now he has a chance to make his dreams a reality. The veteran kicker for Baltimore is still under investigation with allegations over him, so it is unsure whether Loop will be learning under Justin Tucker or replacing him. For now, it is just the fresh excitement of making it to the pros.
His selection continues a strong draft showing for Arizona, following wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan‘s top-10 pick earlier in the week — a testa ment to the Wildcats’ growing presence on the national stage.
