“Bec’s going to warm up, there’s a chance she’s probably out,” said Tibbetts. “BG more than likely plays.”

Allen was a game-time decision against the Wings on Wednesday, before suiting up and starting. She’ll now sit out and get some rest against Los Angeles.

Allen won’t be the only player out for the Mercury. Diana Taurasi and Charisma Osborne will both sit out due to left lower leg injuries.

Taurasi woke up after Wednesday’s game in pain and did not travel with the team to Los Angeles.

“She’s not on the trip, so we’ll find out [her status] when we get back [to Phoenix],” said Tibbetts. “I don’t know the extended period of time [or] how long that is, we’re hoping not very long, but we’ll see when we get back.”

The Sparks will host the Mercury at 4 p.m. Pacific Time.
