According to tournament officials, Kelce will participate in the 2026 Annexus Pro-Am, a key opening act to the WM Phoenix Open.

Joining other top sports talent, including Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald, Kelce’s commitment underscores how “The People’s Open” continues to position itself as one of golf’s most visible blends of sports, entertainment and culture. This has turned tournament week into one of the PGA Tour’s most nationally recognized events.

“Travis Kelce is one of the most accomplished and recognizable athletes of his generation,” Tournament Chairman Jason Eisenberg said in a press release. “His championship pedigree, competitive mindset, and star power make him a tremendous addition to the Annexus Pro-Am and an exciting presence for our fans during tournament week.”

The Annexus Pro-Am, held at TPC Scottsdale ahead of tournament play, has long been a gateway for celebrity involvement, pairing Tour professionals with athletes, entertainers and business leaders. Kelce’s commitment brings both star presence and a built-in national audience at a moment when the NFL is preparing for the Super Bowl the same weekend.

Kelce is a three-time Super Bowl champion and has become one of the league’s most recognizable players, a profile that aligns with what the tournament represents. Driven by fan engagement, the stop blends high-level competition with entertainment.

The Kansas City star won’t be chasing a Lombardi Trophy in Scottsdale, but his presence at the WM Phoenix Open will undoubtedly be one to watch.

The WM Phoenix Open will run from Feb. 2-8, with the Annexus Pro-Am on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
