Morrison getting the call to the NFL:
The Phoenix native was a four-star recruit at Brophy, being the third-ranked player in Arizona. In his senior season, Morrison recorded 53 tackles and two interceptions. Morrison earned plenty of Division 1 football offers across the country but decided to join the Fighting Irish.

Once he arrived at Notre Dame, Morrison was a three-year starter, becoming one of the program’s best defensive backs. In his freshman year, he had six interceptions and four pass deflections. The following year, Morrison continued his stellar play with three interceptions and 10 pass deflections, earning the honor of team captain.

Morrison suffered a hip injury early in his junior season that required surgery. However, he had put enough tape through his first two years that Tampa Bay was willing to take the cornerback in the 2nd round of the NFL draft.
The newest Buccaneer cries on the phone, overwhelmed with emotions, proclaiming that he won’t let the team down. From playing on the small high school fields of Brophy to Raymond James Stadium on Sundays, Morrison has realized his dream.
